Dr. Nadeem Jan, MBBS, MPH, PGDHPM (Tamgha-I-Imtiaz)

Dr. Nadeem Jan, MBBS, MPH, PGDHPM (Tamgha-I-Imtiaz) offers 24 years of illustrious career with UN, USAID, World Bank, EU, DFID, INGOs and national Governments. He has managed complex emergencies in the world’s most challenging contexts like Somalia, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Philippines, Kenya, Afghanistan and FATA-KP in Pakistan.

In the period 1996-2000 Dr Nadeem played key role in the development and implementation of Pakistan’s flagship LHWs & Polio programme.

In 2001 he introduced private sector engagement in Polio programme & helped develop its surveillance system.

In 2002-4 he designed a Novel ‘Comprehensive Eye care Programme’ in FATA-KP, which was globally replicated.

In 2004-5, Nadeem launched the 1st ever ‘Health Reforms initiative’ in FATA amidst many odds. His ability to deliver high impact services in short time was recognized by the then President of Pakistan.
